Tadpole, F.R.O.G. Club and LIGHT 56 Fall Session begins Wednesday, September 1st
Parents,
Some things you need to know:
1. REQUIRED MEETING Wednesday, August 18th at 6:30 in the multipurpose room for all parents that will be enrolling their children into the fall Wednesday night program. The meeting will last one hour. It is OK to bring your children along if you need to. Jonanne will have something for them to do while you attend the meeting.
2. HAVE A SIXTH GRADER. Sometimes 6th graders are ready to move on once they complete the school year. Sixth graders have the option of moving into the junior high program at the beginning of June or September. It will be helpful for your sixth grader to make a choice and then stick with it. Your sixth grader may experience some transition challenges but please help your sixth grader through that time and do not allow your sixth grader to make a choice as to whether or not to attend. If you give the choice now, you will have bigger challenges in the future. We have had a great group of sixth graders this year and it would be very beneficial for that group to maintain their friendships and encouragement to each other. If you have any questions, please contact Mike and Kristi Powers at 758-2850. The junior high program offers a Wednesday night program from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. This time will be filled with outreach opportunities, devotionals and relationship building. And also a Sunday morning program during the 9:30 service. This time will be filled with opportunities for spiritual growth.
