Anthony Weisensel

Hello there! The name’s AJ and I’ve been blessed to be part of the youth ministry at Faith since the fall of 2014. Before then, I helped lead at various youth groups during my 4 years of college. Dale Crawford introduced me to Faith’s youth group over the winter break of the 2013-2014 school year and I reconnected with them after returning home at the end of the summer. I started helping with the older high schoolers on Wednesdays at the Powers' house, sporadically with the 8th graders, and have now settled into being a co-leader for the 6th graders. I’m extremely thankful for Michael getting me connected with Faith’s youth groups and the opportunity to serve and lead the youth. I grew up in a Christian home, but didn’t get serious about my faith until I got to college. I met the amazing Dale Crawford during my sophomore year at UW-Rock County and have experienced a tremendous amount of spiritual growth since then. I'm a very artistic person, which led me to pursue a major in graphic design at UW-Whitewater. I’m also a very athletic person and enjoy snowboarding, soccer, volleyball, disc golfing, ultimate frisbee, running, walking, longboarding, water skiing, and kayaking. "I currently work for Wisconsin Early Autism Project, which involves 1-on-1 therapy in the homes of children with autism.
