Immigration Legal Services Outreach
Faith Community Church seeks to reach out and serve the immigrant community in Rock County and it's surrounding areas through the outreach. Our services include determination of client's eligibility for immigration benefit and/or relief, preparation and submission of applications, representation before the USCIS and referral of cases outside it's expertise.
On June 14, 2016, Faith Community Church was recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals and is authorized to provide such services through it's BIA accredited representative. A list of state-by-state accredited representatives and recognized organizations is found at: http://www.justice.gov/sites/default/files/pages/attachments/2016/10/24/raroster-orgs-reps.pdf
Leviticus 19:33-34 states: When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the Lord your God."
It is in obedience to this command and our hope to make Christ known that inspire us to love and serve vulnerable immigrants in our midst.
